Comparing Dating Services

When I broke up with my partner after 6 years together I decided to take a break from relationships but soon I found I was lonely and depressed. It was then I figured I would give a dating service a try. I had a few friends that used Entre-Nous Network before and I wanted to try one other local service at the same time and decided on Nuera Network so I could compare the quality of prospective partners offered.

This is starting to sound like a car or cattle auction instead of my dating life. I joined both services in early July and by the end of the month had 2 dates from each. All I can say is wow! Thank goodness I did stay single any longer or I might never have met Ethan. He is everything I ever wanted in men and then some. We get along amazing and almost never argue. We plan to move in together in January and who knows maybe marriage is in our future.

The best advice I can give someone that is newly single is not to listen to anyone else when deciding whether to get back into the dating scene. It is a personal choice and everyone is different.

My online dating experiences

I have been a part of a few online dating websites and have some very good advice to offer to those of you new to this, or that are questioning the online dating services. The first advice that I can offer you when subscribing to an online dating website is to always post a picture of you first. I had several people message me to talk, or go out on a date that did not have pictures posted and the reality of it is that all of us want to see a person before we go out on a date.

Posting a picture will get you double the responses that you would get versus not posting a picture. The next advice I can offer is that you must ask the people you are going out with what they want to get out of this dating. Some people are on these free online dating websites to clearly just date and never get serious, and if you seek a long term relationship with someone, you can get quite worn out dating people that have no desire for this. There are some websites that let you classify yourself as dating only, friends only, long term relationships, and I would suggest you select the one you want to have and make sure your date is the same as well. Another piece of advice I can offer is that you never meet a person for a first date at your house or their house.

You should select a place that is familiar to both of you and meet there. If you or your date is not happy, then you both can walk away and have no ties to going home or riding with the other one. Once you give a person your address, they can always have that to come back to, and if you don’t get along, that could be a negative thing.
